In this 4 hour acting intensive we will cover the essentials of acting for the camera in a creative, safe, supportive atmosphere; allowing actors to be vulnerable and take risks. 

This class is for the adult actor who is ready to break into the Film/TV Industry

To be competitive in this emerging market an actor must possess a solid on-camera technique that is specific to the audition format.

Relax. Learn the indispensable relaxation technique for acting taught to Eva by renowned actor Vincent D’Onofrio. “You cannot act unless you are relaxed!”

Find Your Voice. Through coached acting exercises, we will focus on finding your voice so your authentic-self shines through on camera. 

 

Nail the audition. Actors will go on tape, read from TV/Film copies, and coached individually. Learn to make smart choices that get you remembered by casting directors.

The Instructor 

Hailing from NYC, Eva now brings her experience as an actor, coach, and teacher, to Virginia. Eva studied Method Acting under the prominent actor Vincent D’Onofrio (pupil of Lee Strasberg and Sharon Chatten), and has her BFA in Musical Theatre from The New School University, NYC. Known for her comedy, she is a character actress specializing in solo performance. She has been featured roles on Law & Order; Criminal Intent, AMC's Television series Turn:Washington’s Spies, Legends and Lies along with numerous other TV, Film, Commercials and Web series. With nearly a million views, you can watch Eva’s inspirational TEDx presentation, In My Chair, on Youtube.

  • Please come with lines completely memorized. You will get the most out of your session.

  • Actors must bring 2 printed out copies of the scene/sides they would like to work on. 

  • Be ready to have fun and play! It's all an experiment.
